Like every year, the countdown has begun. One of the greatest international yachting show is approaching with beneficial and significant economic effects for the Principality while mobilising major logistical operations, which are starting these days at Port Hercules. The Monaco Yacht Show 2025 - MYS 2025 - will be held from the 24th to the 27th September 2025, involving the entire iconic port area of the Principality and the Monaco Yacht Club. Since its first edition in 1991, the MYS is a metaphor for innovation, high technology, glamor and luxury lifestyle combined with a growing attention to the marine environment conservation and the ecological transition of maritime transport. For some years now, a pavilion of the Show, the former Sustainability Hub, has been entirely dedicated to companies and startups focused on green and climate tech as well as sustainable design and equipment applied to boating. As of the 2025 edition, something new is on the horizon.
The latest innovative devices with practical application will be showcased at the Blue Wake™ space, a new-concept area where selected exhibitors will interact with visitors and stakeholders introducing them some cutting edge solutions, specifically designed to make the superyachting industry environmentally friendly smarter. This project is meant to drive a positive change and sustainable best practices by giving visibility to significant Blue Economy companies' outcome through a series of B2B and B2C initiatives, in partnership with the Water Revolution Foundation, an independent non-profit organisation established to cut the yachting ecological footprint and preserve oceans. The most impactful products or services will then be acknowledged by Blue Wake Awards, within the MYS Grand Opening Night.

The Monaco Yacht Show will be a point of reference for international yachting for almost a week, gathering 120 superyachts will be on display, half of which will be world premieres. The Yacht Design & Innovation Hub will showcase the latest technological innovations in terms of boating efficiency, comfort and digital management. Moreover, the Adventure Area will host a wide range of luxury vehicles, exploration equipment and aquatic toys while the the Sapphire Experience will offer exclusive opportunities, notably private events and tailor-made meetings for selected guests, including buyers, investors and industry enthusiasts, with a focus on innovation, design and quality.
However, Sustainability will be one of the key themes, even in the organization of the event itself. The MYS event management is constantly committed to reduce their environmental impacts as for pollutant emissions, energy consumption, waste management and mobility congestion. With the active support of the Gouvernement Princier (Prince's Government), the MYS joined in 2022 the sustainable Pact promoted by the Mission for the Energy Transition aimed at dramatically reducing GHG emissions on the Monegasque territory. Energy-saving light sources, recycling programs, distribution of reusable water bottles, free electric shuttles, communication digitalisation are some of the pillars put in place to make a difference.

The Monaco Yacht Show is also increasing its social responsibility in favor of natural conservation projects and changing habits towards a more sustainable future. The MYS has been supporting the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation since 2010 through an annual donation for biodiversity, ocean conservation and climate mitigation. Since 2024, the MYS encourages the application of the Environmental Crew Guidelines elaborated by the Water Revolution Foundation to foster environmentally friendly practices and promote eco-awareness among yacht crews. Finally, the MYS is also engaged in achieving an "effective protection of at least 30% of the ocean by 2030", the so-called Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework target, in collaboration with the Blue Marine Yacht Club, a global yachting community which invites members to protect marine ecosystems to leave them inherited to next generations. ***
