The exclusive meeting was held at the Fondation Armando Alvarez Penteado - FAAP - within the targeted event Construire demain, ensemble (“Building together, tomorrow”) gathering students in art, economics, and law as well as young entrepreneurs to introduce the audience their companies and sustainable development projects.
The debate inevitably veered towards the UN Conference of the Parties COP30 which would have taken place in Belém within few days. In particular, Federico Perez, member of the development committee of the Latin America branch of Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, member of the first Re.Generation cohort and entrepreneur, stressed the importance of South America region for biological diversity, resilience, innovation and leadership, including the Amazon, a true heritage of humanity.

As reaffirmed by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco in His keynote speech, we are facing a consistent transformation ecological social, economic and technological transformation which pushes us to rethink business-as-usual models and ways of producing, consuming and staying together. At the sam time, the Sovereign Prince recalled how new generations are being actively contributing to sustainable innovation and build up more just societies open to giving voice to all stakeholders, place that it is now clear that we no longer have a choice.
Federico Perez highlighted also that new generations of entrepreneurs are prone to act to reduce climate change effects, merging creativity and a challenging approach towards innovative solutions.
On this occasion, ten entrepreneurs were able to present their innovative solution to major environmental challenges, notably: the ecological restoration of forests (Morfo), biodiversity conservation (Amazon Research International), access to drinking water and the preservation of water resources (Aguacamelo – SDW for all - Piipee), sustainable food and the fight against waste food (MicroTERRA – Nanofreeze), sustainable textile fibers (Phycolabs), the fight for climate justice and the rights of indigenous peoples (Yanuni), but also adaptation and resilience of territories (RegeneraRS).
