Monaco's Touristic offer awarded at the M&IT Awards 2025 to praise its Sustainability.

Monaco has been fully committed to Sustainable Development for a long time, as demonstrated by its national and international commitment embodied by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. Biodiversity, resource management and greenhouse gas reduction are some of the national priorities involving Tourism and Bunsiness Attractiveness, pivotal income items. Not by chance, country has recently received the title of "Best European Destination 2025", closely linked to its efforts in promoting eco-responsible and high-level national hospitality.


At the prestigious M&IT Awards 2025 ceremony, held at the JW Marriott Grovernors House in London on the 19th September 2025, the Monegasque business tourism industry was awarded three times. This prestigious recognition was conferred within a major yearly rendezvous in the field congress and trade shows, gathering about 700 professionals in this expertise.

Guy Antognelli, Director of Monaco Tourism and Congresses, highlighted: "This triple recognition on one of the very first business tourism markets reflects a collective commitment and a demand for quality which make Monaco a trusted partner for organisers worlwide".


The Monaco Convention Bureau of the Direction of Tourism and Congresses was given for the third consecutive year the Gold Award in the "Best Overseas Convention Bureau" category, confirming its primacy in terms of services and support for event organisers.


The Grimaldi Forum Monaco, iconic and pioneering congress centre in Monaco, was acknowledged the Gold Award in the category "Best Overseas Convention Centre". While handling the trophy, Sylvie Biancheri, General Director, praised the quality of the Grimaldi Forum's infrastructure as well as its long-lasting commitment or 25 years now.


The Raising Stones Events agency, innovative company established in Nice area and Monaco, was given the Silver Award in the "Best Destination Management Company" category, highlighting the skilled knowledge of private actors operating in the French Riviera.


These recognitions testify the Monegasque engagement in the business and tourism sectors to raise "Made in Monaco" attractiveness at international scale. ***
