On the 14th and the 15th October 2026, the 21st edition of EVER Monaco will bring together innovators, institutions and industry leaders at One Monte-Carlo Congress Centre, placing the spotlight on technologies capable of accelerating the ecological transition.

As the global race towards decarbonisation intensifies, EVER Monaco returns for its 21st edition with a clear ambition: to turn sustainability from a long-term aspiration into a practical programme of innovation and action. As a matter of fact, the event will bring together experts, companies, public institutions and emerging businesses to explore the future of sustainable mobility, energy management and environmental responsibility. Organised by Monaco Développement Durable (MC2D), under the leadership of Sébastien Lubert, the forum continues a tradition of connecting technological progress with the challenges of sustainable development.

One of the defining themes of the 2026 edition will be the increasingly complex relationship between artificial intelligence and energy consumption. As AI becomes embedded in transport, infrastructure and industrial processes, its potential to improve resource management and optimise energy consumption is attracting growing attention.

At EVER Monaco, discussions will examine how intelligent systems can contribute to decarbonisation across land, maritime and aviation sectors. From more efficient mobility networks to smarter infrastructure, the focus will be on applications capable of delivering measurable environmental benefits.

Yet, this technological opportunity also raises an essential question: how can AI benefits be maximised while managing the energy and resource demands of digital systems themselves? By bringing these issues into the same conversation, EVER Monaco aims to encourage a more integrated approach to innovation, one that considers both technological performance and environmental impact.

Startups at the heart of tomorrow’s solutions.

A major highlight will be the international startup pitch competition, featuring around 20 selected innovators presenting their projects to a professional jury. Their proposals span a wide range of technologies, reflecting the diversity of challenges involved in the ecological transition.

Among the fields represented are the conversion of CO₂ into synthetic fuels, advanced thermal energy storage, the recovery of difficult-to-recycle plastics and digital twins designed to improve building performance. Other innovations address electric and autonomous mobility, sustainable maritime transport, solar-powered navigation and intelligent resource management.

The entrepreneurial competition is particularly relevant because it places practical implementation alongside technological ambition. A promising concept must demonstrate not only its environmental value, but also its feasibility, economic viability and potential to be adopted beyond the prototype stage.

For startups, the event offers an opportunity to present their solutions to investors, industrial partners and decision-makers. For the wider business community, it provides a window into technologies that could reshape the way energy is produced, stored and consumed.

The choice of One Monte-Carlo, in the heart of the Principality, reinforces the event’s international positioning. Monaco offers a setting in which public institutions, established businesses, investors and entrepreneurs can engage directly with the economic implications of the ecological transition.

The programme will also address sustainable mobility and decarbonisation, with debates and conferences involving representatives from the Principality and organisations active in transport and energy. The involvement of younger generations further underlines the importance of connecting environmental awareness with long-term policy and technological development.

For Monaco, the challenge is to translate its international reach into opportunities for collaboration, investment and the adoption of more sustainable practices. For participants, EVER Monaco offers a forum in which environmental objectives can be examined alongside the regulatory, financial and operational realities that determine whether new solutions succeed.

From ambition to measurable impact.

More than two decades after its beginnings, EVER Monaco continues to evolve alongside the challenges it seeks to address. The 2026 edition reflects a broader shift in the sustainability debate: the emphasis is no longer solely on setting ambitious goals, but on identifying the technologies, partnerships and business models capable of delivering tangible results. Its ultimate significance will lie in the opportunities it creates for promising ideas to move towards real-world deployment.

As the ecological transition becomes an increasingly urgent economic and industrial priority, EVER Monaco 2026 positions the Principality as a meeting point for those seeking to turn innovation into action. ***

EVER Monaco 2026 takes place on 14–15 October at One Monte-Carlo, Monaco. Admission is free. Further information and the conference programme are available at: EVER MONACO 2026
